Short accents in FC (→GE) & FE

Vertical accents in EE

..

The use of vertical accents (unauthorised by Chopin) – instead of common, short horizontal accents in bars 4 and 8 – is a frequent phenomenon in first English editions.

b. 5-13

composition: Op. 30 No. 2, Mazurka in B minor

..

In bars 5 and 13, in the main text we add a cautionary  to G in the bass and to g1 in the R.H. The latter was also added in both bars in GE (added in crayon in FC) and in bar 5 also in EE.

b. 8

composition: Op. 30 No. 2, Mazurka in B minor

..

In FE the last R.H. note is a crotchet, as a result of which the bar includes 7 quavers. In the main text we correct this mistake after the FC notation (→GE); this version is also in EE.

b. 31-63

composition: Op. 30 No. 2, Mazurka in B minor

..

In FE there is no  raising e1 to e1 in bars 31 and 63. The oversight, probably by Chopin in [A], was corrected in EE.

b. 39-47

composition: Op. 30 No. 2, Mazurka in B minor

..

There is no accidental to the last grace note in bars 39 and 47 in FC, while in FE in bars 39, 45 and 47. The patent oversights, the ones in bars 39 and 47 most probably by Chopin himself, who considered the earlier  to g1 to be sufficient, were corrected in GE (in bar 39 a  was added to FC already by the reviser) and in EE.
